“I brought Cacai and Passion Cooks together for this collaboration because Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. It felt like a natural fit—Cacai, who hails from Pampanga in Central Luzon, a region known as the Christmas capital of the Philippines, and Chef Laura, who has been championing comfort food in weddings. Both share a clear strength in creating experiences that feel familiar and meaningful. They’re known for bringing a true ‘taste of home’ to every celebration,” shares WE EIC, Kitten Zapata.
Portfolio Events Solutions built its identity on intentional design. In 2016, the team recognized a shift in the industry, events were becoming more visual, yet often lacked meaning.
Under Muñoz’s direction, styling evolved into a storytelling tool. For this holiday-inspired setting, the team created a festive environment grounded in structure and clarity, ensuring that every element, from layout to material choices supported the theme without overwhelming it.
On the culinary side, Passion Cooks is rooted in heritage and family. What began as a mother-daughter venture grew into a full-scale catering company known for delivering refined yet comforting dishes. Chef Laura’s cooking reflects warmth and familiarity, while Maja ensures that each event aligns with the client’s vision in both execution and presentation.
Their collaboration for Your Perfect Christmas Wedding highlights how design and cuisine can work in sync. The styling established a festive tone, while the menu was carefully curated and plated to complement the visual direction. Each course was presented with consideration for color, texture, and placement, ensuring it blended naturally into the overall setup.
Both teams emphasize listening as the starting point. By understanding the couple’s story, they ensure every detail, whether visual or culinary—feels connected.
