Featuring Marco Aytona and Camille M. Aytona

Marco and Camille’s love story began in 2016 during a Christmas event at their workplace, a hospital in Quezon City. Camille was rehearsing onstage in an aquamarine dress and stilettos, while Marco arrived and instantly felt something shift. In his wedding vow, he would later say, “The first time I saw you was the time that I believed that love at first sight exists.”

After the competition, they were introduced, started talking online, and had their first date on December 28, 2016, beginning with dinner in Greenhills and ending with a spontaneous drive to Tagaytay. From that night on, they were inseparable.

Years passed, life happened, and even the pandemic changed some of their plans. But love stayed. In April 2025, during a company trip to Vietnam, Marco felt signs that the time had come. Soon after, during a family trip to Sapporo, Japan, he proposed to Camille at Mt. Usu Park with their daughter, Via, by his side.

Camille opened what looked like an iPhone box and found the GIA certificate inside. Then Marco asked her to be his wife. Through tears, laughter, and Via’s playful “no” before the big yes, their wedding journey officially began.

El Nido became the heart of their celebration because it had once been their escape during difficult seasons. Angkla Boutique and Beach Resort, with its sunset views and deep meaning to the couple, was the perfect choice. They planned everything themselves, from the sunset beach theme to the DIY details, the gowns, suits, flowers, and even an Instagram page for guests.

The wedding unfolded as a three-day celebration. Guests arrived on April 15, 2026, welcomed with dinner at El Nido Grill. The next day brought island hopping, boodle fight lunch, massages on the boats, and an all-white sunset dinner at Panorama Resort.

Then came Day 3: the wedding day. Prayers were said, flowers were arranged, and everyone dressed in classy beach attire. Marco prepared with his father, best man, and groomsmen, while Camille got ready with Via and her bridesmaids. As “Tenerife Sea” played, Camille walked toward Marco beneath an orange-purple sunset. Their pink and blue unity sand ceremony became a beautiful symbol of two lives becoming one, impossible to separate.

At the reception, the newlyweds ran in from the shore to “Marry You,” surrounded by guests waving white wands. There were heartfelt speeches, Filipino dishes, lobsters, crabs, music from family and friends, and Marco’s original song for Camille with the line, “I know it’s you, who fills the emptiness.”

It was magical, emotional, and very them. After ten years, Marco and Camille did not just have a wedding. They created a full-on love era.
