Aries and Jarylyn’s love story began in June 2022, inside a corporate office in Makati where new beginnings quietly unfolded. Jarylyn, then a fresh graduate healing from past heartbreak, found comfort in a circle of office friends, and among them was Aries, the guy who could light up any room with jokes and laughter.
At first, Jarylyn denied her growing feelings. Aries was not her usual “type,” but his warmth, kindness, and sincerity slowly won her over. She made the first move in the sweetest ways: bringing him breakfast, preparing medicine when he felt unwell, and taking longer walks home just to spend more time with him. Soon, they became each other’s safe space. By September 2022, Aries formally visited Jarylyn’s family as her suitor, and their simple first date at Glorietta became one of their most treasured memories.
Their relationship grew through travel, food, faith, and everyday life. From Baguio to Batangas, La Union, Laguna, and beyond, they built memories one trip at a time. On January 28, 2023, Aries surprised Jarylyn with a proposal asking her to be his girlfriend. Months later, he quietly worked on their future, securing a house and lot, which he lovingly turned over to her during their 15th-month anniversary.
Then came Christmas Eve 2024. During a family gift exchange, Aries gave Jarylyn the handwritten letter she had asked for. At the end, he wrote, “All I want is you, being the happiest. Will you marry me?” Surrounded by tears, smiles, and excited shouting, Jarylyn said yes.
On September 27, 2025, their love reached the altar in an intimate Christian church wedding. Practical, purposeful, and deeply personal, their celebration carried a soft pastel theme that blended Jarylyn’s artistic heart with Aries’ minimalist style. There was no overly grand styling or complicated entourage, just a wedding that felt genuinely them.
Their rings became one of the day’s most meaningful details, crafted from gold accessories lovingly kept by Jarylyn’s parents, including their very first wedding rings. “What made our wedding day truly unforgettable was how perfectly it reflected the reality of our love, simple, purposeful, and deeply rooted in faith,” Jarylyn shared.
From DIY vow books to dried flowers chosen for guests’ comfort, every detail spoke of care. Their reception inside the church auditorium was joyful, respectful, and surprisingly fun, proving that love does not need to be extravagant to be unforgettable.
