In a majestic ceremony at the Istana Nurul Iman palace, Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei and Anisha Isa Kalebic exchanged their vows on Jan. 14, 2024
Anisha captivated everyone with her stunning long ivory wedding gown, paired with a long embroidered veil. The highlight of her ensemble was an exquisite tiara, borrowed from her sister-in-law, Princess Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah, who is also Prince Mateen’s sister.
The diamond flower tiara that adorned Anisha’s head was meticulously designed and crafted by Flower Diamond, a renowned Singaporean jeweler. Founded by Belinda Chua and led by creative director Roslind Ng, Flower Diamond has been creating elegant bespoke jewelry since 1996.
This particular tiara is a true masterpiece, made with 18k white gold and adorned with a dazzling collection of diamonds. It boasts an impressive array of diamonds, each cut to perfection.
The total carat weight of the tiara exceeds 132 carats, making it a striking piece of art.
“It is composed of a striking array of 838 pieces of diamonds, including 38 square-shaped, 14 oval-shaped, 19 pear-shaped, and 767 round brilliant- cut diamonds—totalling over 132 carats,” the Flower Diamond Boutique posted on their Instagram account, along with a sketch of the tiara.
The team at Flower Diamond shared that they worked tirelessly to ensure that each diamond was carefully selected to match in shape and quality, resulting in a tiara that is truly unique. It took them eight months meticulously creating this stunning piece.
“The whole process of design, crafting, and final finishing took eight months, showcasing our commitment to creating unparalleled and intricate pieces. This involved the challenging process of sourcing diamonds of different sizes that consistently matched in shape and quality, further demonstrating the tiara’s distinctiveness and the meticulousness involved in its conception and creation.”
