If there’s one thing that I looked forward to when I entered this new chapter, it was the excitement of discovering things together—be it between me and my husband, or taking on new adventures as we continue to explore the world.
Taking the first step into the “unknown” is always filled with many emotions, but doing it together with your husband is reassuring enough to take that jump together. No matter what happens, I know that we always have each other’s backs.
Our batch of real weddings featured in this issue proves that love always wins. Stories of how they’ve moved their wedding dates many times due to the pandemic, challenges they’ve faced together and how grateful they are for understanding suppliers, trimming down the guest list (as disheartening as it was to do so)—all of these were trials that only makes your big day extra special.
In this issue WE feature local destinations. As the Philippines opens up its borders to tourists, the country also boasts of several destinations where you can celebrate your ever-after. WE take you on a ride to some of the beautiful wedding venues in the south of the metro all the way to Central Luzon. WE hope you enjoy travelling with us as much as we had fun making this issue.
The Perfect Destination Wedding
In the business of weddings, many things must be considered, from the gown, the cake, the theme, to your dream destination.
In this issue, WE have partnered with some of the most competitive wedding venues in Luzon. WE are very proud to share with you the beauty of the Philippines.
Just over an hour away from Manila, Tagaytay and Batangas are some of the top wedding destinations in the country. Tagaytay is well-known for its cool breeze from the highlands, while Batangas showcases awe-inspiring sceneries and rich local culture. Beautiful churches abound from Cavite to Nasugbu, and the region boasts of a wide array of gastronomic delights. WE recommend checking out Summit Ridge Tagaytay and Twin Lakes Hotel in Batangas.
Moving over to the north of Manila, just two hours away from the metro is the culinary capital of the Philippines, Pampanga. More than its bustling food culture, the province also has over twenty wedding venues that you can choose from. For instance, the Grand Palazzo Royale in Angeles City has three main ballrooms and a sprawling garden that could accommodate any wedding theme.
Even amid the pandemic, several Philippine destinations are still great locations for your big day. WE will always be here with you to be on the lookout for more breathtaking venues.
