TikTok content creators Lenie Aycardo and Hajie Alejandro tied the knot last January 3. Both Tiktok stars went viral for doin popular videos, including the Asoka challenge and make up transition trends.
In a YouTube video, they shared the details of their intimate civil wedding, revealing how their wedding planning went through unexpected twists and turns.
“December 27 lang namin nalaman na ikakasal kami ng January 3,” Hajie added.
(We only found out on December 27 that we are getting married on January 3.)
“Plan naman talaga naming magpakasal na ng January, kaso wala nga kaming date. Sabay sabi ng coordinator, January 3 raw po ang available na date,” added Lenie.
(Our plan was really to get married in January, but we didn’t have a date yet. Then the coordinator said that January 3 was the available date.)
“So kung hindi kami nakapag-update sa TikTok, sa Facebook, pati kami nabigla,” Hajie said.
(So if we weren’t able to update on TikTok and Facebook, it’s because we were just as surprised.)
Hajie also mentioned that they still plan to have a grand wedding, but for now, they will focus more on Lenie’s pregnancy.
As a sweet gesture, Hajie did his wife’s makeup and wrote a song for her on their wedding day.
“My husband does my makeup and made a song for me on our wedding day,” Lenie wrote on her TikTok video.
Lenie looked stunningly beautiful in her petite, sweetheart neckline wedding dress. Meanwhile, Hajie looked sharp in his black suit. Both looked so chic and simple, yet elegant.
