Fashion influencer and bride-to-be Laureen Uy recently had her bachelorette party in Bali, Indonesia. Joined by her closest friends; Patricia Prieto, Katrina, Michelle Dy, Jonah, Genellane, Nicole, Camille, and her siblings Liz and Vince Uy, the intimate surprise party was a success.
In a video posted by Laureen on YouTube, she revealed that she was completely surprised when her friends sent her a ticket and instructed her to pack all white outfits. She also shared that she had no idea about the plans, the location, or the itinerary.
“Actually, I have zero idea kung ano yung plano nila for me. They literally sent me my ticket and I don’t know where we were staying, what we’re going to do, and the itinerary. I think ganun naman talaga usually yung mga bachelorettes,” Laureen shared. “I don’t even know kung sino yung mga confirmed guests, and I know it will be a busy month. So whoever is gonna go, thank you in advance for your time. When I asked them what should I pack? Sabi lang nila all white.”
Before the flight, her fiancé Miggy Cruz gave her a tight hug and sweetly wished her to enjoy her bachelorette party.
On the first day, they stayed at the beautiful Villa Lima Hati, a luxurious private villa in Bali with spacious rooms and relaxing amenities. Laureen’s friends were busy preparing the bachelorette merchandise, including personalized tumblers, stylish hats, beauty products, sweets, and sunglasses, which would be given to each of the girls.
As the girls got ready, Laureen expressed her gratitude for her friends’ efforts and felt touched that they had flown all the way to Bali to celebrate with her. “I am super touched that all of my friends took their time to fly here for me and to celebrate my bachelorette. Wala pang nangyayari emotional na ako,” she said.
They had lunch at a restaurant called Nook, which offers a stunning panoramic view of lush rice fields. Afterwards, they changed into cute swimwear and headed to FINNS, one of the most popular beach clubs in the world. They enjoyed party buckets and were entertained by dancers.
Laureen couldn’t help but appreciate the fact that all the girls were dressed in white. “Ito talaga ‘yung mga kasama ko,” Laureen quipped. For their dinner, they hired a chef who prepared Filipino-favorite dishes.
On the third day, they visited La Favela, a hotspot in Bali known for its Latin-influenced dishes and dreamy ambiance. Laureen shared that she loved the music and had a great time there.
“So, last night we went to La Favela. We had a bottle of tequila. I’ve always wanted to say that La Favela is one of my favorite bars here kasi sobrang good vibes lang ng music and ang saya lang,” she narrated. The next day, to escape the hot weather, they had cold drinks and brunch at a modern cafe called Sisterfields. They also made a quick stop at Baked, a renowned bakery, to enjoy their favorite coffee and pastries. Next, they went to The Flea market in Seminyak to purchase some Bali-inspired clothing.
Laureen looked stunning in a cute short skirt and a bra from Eightmermaid swimsuit as they visited Ku De Ta, one of Bali’s most prominent partying hotspots. They had a lovely conversation while enjoying the breathtaking view of the sea and a perfect sunset.
Of course, a bachelorette party would not be complete without a night out! Laureen wore a sexy evening dress, complete with a sash, and a cute crown. From dancing, to heartily-shared meals and a relaxing massage to end the shindig, it was truly a fun night for the bride.
“I’m so happy that my highschool and college friends, vlogger besties, and my siblings are all here and that everyone is getting to know each other. I think this is one of the magical moments… I can never explain how thankful I am for all my friends taking their time to come here to celebrate with me. I feel the love and the effort. I am forever grateful for my friends,” – Laureen
