Abdul Mateen ibni Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, one of the hottest princes of Brunei, recently tied the knot with Anisha Isa Kalebic. It was an extravagant 10-day wedding celebration that took place from Jan. 7 to 16, 2024.

During this highly anticipated royal wedding, 29-year old Anisha mesmerized onlookers with her stunning choices of attire. She effortlessly showcased four ethereal ceremony ensembles that quickly became the talk of the town.

To commence the festivities, Anisha exuded a radiant charm while donning a “custom-made traditional Brunei outfit called baju kurung, intricately woven with tenunan Brunei patterns.” This remarkable ensemble, captured and shared on Instagram by designer Teh Firdaus, during the Khatam Quran event.

On Wednesday, Jan. 10, during the “powdering ceremony” known as Istiadat Berbedak, Anisha received blessings from her close family members. She looked ethereal in a Brunei wedding dress, adorned with vibrant red and gold hues, intricately embellished with floral motifs, and complemented by a traditional headdress.

For the “Berbedak Mandi” ceremony, she exuded grace and sophistication in her second outfit, wearing a “short lace kurung paired with a chiffon silk veil, embellished with delicate hand-beaded pearls,” posted by Teh Firdaus.

For the parade, her hair was gracefully covered by a dramatic veil. The standout feature of Anisha’s ensemble was the diamond flower tiara, borrowed from her sister-in-law, Princess Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah, who happens to be Prince Mateen’s sister. She wore a long-sleeved wedding gown with diamond earrings and necklace.

On Jan. 14, at the magnificent Istana Nurul Iman palace, the couple sealed their love with the exchange of vows. For the reception, Princess Anisha mesmerized everyone in a long and fully-beaded wedding gown by Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad. “At the Royal Wedding of Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei to Anisha Rosnah, the bride wore a custom Zuhair Murad gown in celebration of the special occasion. The House wishes luck and happiness to the beautiful couple,” posted the designer.
