Exchanging vows at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Antipolo, beauty queen Maxine Medina and Timmy Llana got married last Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023. Here are more details about their intimate church wedding.
A nature-loving venue
The couple’s wedding venue is at The Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a popular church in Antipolo. Known for its exquisite architecture crafted by the talented Arch. Dom Galicia, the church exudes a solemn ambiance while boasting an open and airy design. Its unique architectural style goes well with the picturesque surroundings, as it is conveniently situated near the renowned “Hinulugang TakTak” waterfalls.
The wedding dress
The beauty queen looked stunning as she gracefully walked down the aisle in a white champagne satin dress by Mark Bumgarner. Her gown radiated elegance and perfectly complemented her natural beauty.
Vibrant resort reception
Timmy and Maxine’s vibrant and youthful reception at Kalinaw Private Resort, planned by Princess Anne Ramos. The reception features a colorful array of yellow, violet, pink, and white roses, complemented by gold plates and candles. The addition of lights further enhances the youthful ambiance of the venue.
All-white rose bouquet
Maxine’s bouquet, expertly crafted by florist Tei Endencia, is a perfect match to the gown. She opted for all-white roses, symbolizing purity, loyalty, and innocence.
Maxine’s fresh-radiant look
Maxine’s bridal look was absolutely stunning. Her makeup, done by Albert Kurniawan, gave her a fresh and radiant appearance, while her straight-down hair, styled by hair stylist Buknoy Mateo, beautifully complemented her overall look.
Wedding ring with a personal touch
The couple selected two wedding rings from J’s Diamond. They chose a diamond eternity band for formal events and special occasions, and a classic stoneless metal band for everyday wear. Timmy chose a matte band with polished edges for his wedding ring. They also added a personal touch by engraving their names on the rings.
The couple will be hosting a second wedding celebration at a beach, which is rumored to take place in Palawan next week.
