For the first time ever in Manila, Mak Tumang, who is one of the Philippines’ top bridal designers and the creator of the now-iconic lava gown worn by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, has put all 9 gowns Catriona has ever worn of Mak’s design on exhibit at the SM Mall of Asia.
The designer himself was present to officially open the exhibit to the public. With him (from left) is AVP for Marketing Krisel Raymundo, MOA’s Mall Manager Amy Gonzales, and SAVP for Operations, Perkin So.
The exhibit is entitled THE UNIVERSE, and it’s one you wouldn’t want to miss because if you think the gowns look amazing on stage, wait until you see the divinity in the details! You can also read up on the story behind every dress and the Filipino symbolism each one represents.
The exhibit will be on display at the Mall of Asia until today, March 22. The exhibit will then be moved to the S Maison at Conrad Manila and will run from March 24-28.
