Princess Eugenie, who has kept a low profile wowed fashion and royal watchers with her fairy tale-inspired gown by Peter Piloto and Christopher De Vos from the fashion label Peter Piloto. The princess silhouette gown was corseted featuring a draped shoulder, low back and a long train with structural folds. She opted not to wear a veil to showcase the low back feature of her dress that was at her specific request since she wanted to highlight her scar from a surgery she had at age 12 to correct scoliosis.
The silk, cotton, and viscose blended fabric incorporated symbols that were meaningful to the Princess: a Thistle for Scotland acknowledging the couple’s fondness for Balmoral, a Shamrock for Ireland as a reflection of the Bride’s maternal family, the York Rose, and ivy representing the couple’s home.
She also wore a pair of shoes from British designer – Charlotte Olympia and a bouquet of gorgeous flowers of traditional spring myrtle, Lily of the Valley, Stephanotis pips, baby blue thistles, white spray roses and trailing ivy as a tribute to her Kensington Palace Home.

Now the jewels. It’s refreshing to see young royals taking out pieces from the royal jewelry collection that hasn’t been seen in decades. Setting a new trend by wearing colored stones at a nuptial, Princess Eugenie chose to wear the Greville emerald and diamond Kokoshnik tiara on loan from the Queen.

It consists of a brilliant rose-cut diamond pave set in platinum with six emeralds on either side. The center polished emerald is an impressive 93.70 carats.
