Still on a high from the pink fashion extravaganza of Martine Cajucom and Cliff Ho’s welcome dinner from last Friday that we were all blown away by the beautiful details of her elegantly understated all-white wedding. Yesterday, the celebrity couple tied the knot at Alila Villas Uluwatu luxury resort in front of their family and friends.
The ultra-modern grounds of the luxury resort with its lush surroundings and dramatic views was transformed into a modern event space with a constructed glass stage over the pool, a wedding arch made from baby’s breath sprigs, an all-white aisle crowded by sleek ghost chairs.
The Bride Tribe
The bride’s photogenic bridesmaids wowed in their cool white ensembles showcasing their individual styles by donning different slip dress cuts by designers such as Michael Lo Sordo, Dion Lee, and Patty Ang. The bride specifically requested for a peachy makeup look for her entourage with soft wavy hair, which was executed beautifully by the talented duo of Jelly Eugenio and Paul Nebres. They got ready in their La Tercera robes and added floral accents to their hair.

The Bride, the Gown and the Look
Martine’s sense of style is unquestionable. She has built a strong social media following through her well-curated wardrobe looks, so it’s no surprise that expectations on her bridal look are high. Being the latest “It Girl” to walk down the aisle, all eyes were on her as she previously got everyone excited with her ombre pink Marchesa dress that she wore for her welcome dinner. She did not disappoint when she emerged in a cloud-like Rosa Clara gown.

Martine is the first Filipina Rosa Clará muse and a few months ago, she traveled all the way to Barcelona, Spain to find her perfect dress. She found her perfect match in the label’s “MED” gown from their 2019 couture collection. According to the label’s Instagram page, Martine is the first bride in the world to wear the gorgeous deep V neckline gown made from a delicate combination of silk muslin and intricate Spanish lace worn with a customized overskirt made from 40 meters of silk tulle.
Her glowy bridal makeup look of warm nudes, rose-gold, and soft peachy shades that were done by Robbie Pinera using Sunnies Fluffmatte in the shade Vacay while her mid-parted straight hair was styled by Suyen Salazar. She kept her styling simple wearing only a pair of leaf-life diamond earrings from JJ Jiao.

Later in the evening, the bride changed to another equally ethereal outfit of layered tulle and crystal accents by Tel Aviv based designer – Dana Harel. She finished off her second look with a bejeweled hairpiece by Jennifer Behr.

The Bouquet
The exotic blooms carried by the bride intrigued everyone. The bridal bouquet added a hint of color to the all-white color story of the wedding. Cosa Projects, a Jakarta based design, and décor stylist styled the sculptural bridal bouquet made from phalaenopsis, blushing bride, pampas, rice flower, scabiosa stellate, silver brunia, dianthus peach, anthurium, and tumbleweed. Now that’s a heady mix.
The Ceremony and the Party
Known for throwing good parties with great music, the couple made sure everyone got “the feels” by curating their music. The bride walked down the aisle in Des’rees haunting “I’m Kissing You” from the movie Romeo and Juliet. They sealed the deal with a kiss to the tune of “Tenderness” by General Public taking us all back to countless afternoons watching the movie Clueless. The guests partied to Cliff’s drum performance and a pleasantly nostalgic medley of VST songs that kept the guests on their feet.

The tranquil surroundings of the Alila Villas Ulawatu were decorated with soft pastel lanterns, fairy lights and a simple table setting of mood candles and exotic yet minimalist floral arrangements. They had a large grazing table of cheeses and cold cuts as well as a menu consisting of lobster soup, cod fillet, rack of lamb, pannacotta, pineapple crumble and the quirky wedding cake with a topper of Martin and Cliff’s likeness.
The evening ended with a romantic and dazzling fireworks display to celebrate the couple’s new life together.
Congratulations, Martine and Cliff!
