Choosing your wedding dress is one of the most important decisions you would need to make when planning your wedding. For some brides, they’ve already figured it out since they were 8 – which designer, what silhouette, what type of fabrics they want. Others, however, are a bit more clueless on what to choose or where to buy; and we’re here to help. If you’re a more contemporary type of bride and don’t want to go through the whole process of hiring a designer, here are some brands (both local and foreign), with great RTW selections for every personality.
Viktor & Rolf
For those who appreciate a little quirk or who fancy a more casual look, Viktor and Rolf’s designs are great choices. This avant-garde fashion label has been around since 1993, but they launched their bridalwear just last year. Originally, the brand was shunned by the fashion industry but well-received by the art world until eventually, the name Viktor and Rolf grew into the beloved fashion house it is known to be.
Their collections range from ballgowns to rompers or what they call “mini pantsuits”. Their witty use of fabrics and interesting concepts retain the brand’s signature reputation and aesthetic – with every piece throwing a punch of character.

DELPOZO
DELPOZO has been a high fashion favorite for quite a while now, and it’s easy to see why. Whether they’re going for bridal neutrals or their usual pops of color, all of their clothes seem to be perfectly crafted and structured. Their latest bridal collection, specifically, exudes a hint of graceful nonchalance and flows seamlessly with the wearer’s every movement.

Danielle Frankel
Probably the newest brand among the list, Danielle Frankel was only launched this year. Fresh out of working from the likes of Vera Wang and Marchesa, Danielle Frankel set out on her own two feet to represent the modern bride. The youngness of the brand resembles the clientele it targets – contemporary, confident, and fearless. The silhouettes are daring and unapologetic, a perfect visual representation of the powerful women of today.
