For brides, grooms, and wedding guests seeking something beyond the expected, fashion becomes heirloom art in Sansó X Happy Andrada: “Art Inspires Fashion,” a 30-piece capsule collection for Fundacion Sansó in partnership with Discovery Primea.

Inspired by the vivid visual language of Presidential Medal of Merit awardee Juvenal Sansó, acclaimed designer Happy Andrada transforms the artist’s florals, Black Bouquets, abstracts, hand-painted photo slides, and Moderno Series into striking ceremonial pieces. The result feels especially resonant for weddings: expressive, intimate, and designed to be remembered long after the celebration.

Andrada’s one-of-a-kind barong bibs, gender-neutral silhouettes, and Filipiniana-inspired creations offer couples and guests a meaningful alternative to conventional occasion wear. Crafted with indigenous Philippine materials, handwoven textiles, and upcycled accents, each piece carries the touch of local weaving communities and artisans from Ilocos, Baguio, Cavite, Sulu, Basilan, Lake Sebu, and Aklan.

Techniques such as hand-painting, airbrushing, laser-cutting, crochet, beadwork, pleating, smocking, felting, and embroidery give every garment the richness of a keepsake.
A portion of proceeds supports Fundacion Sansó’s scholarship and arts programs, making each purchase not only a statement piece, but a celebration of love, culture, and legacy for modern weddings rooted in Filipino artistry and enduring craft.
