This vision took shape at Light The Aisle: A Luminous Beginning, a two-day bridal showcase held last May 9 and 10, 2026, at the Grand Ballroom. More than a traditional wedding fair, the event unfolded as an immersive journey through the many elements that define today’s celebrations,; from fashion and flowers to hospitality, styling, beauty, and event design.

Ms. Rycel Engalla shares Solaire Resort Entertainment City’s vision for modern celebrations.

Inside the Grand Ballroom, couples discovered curated wedding concepts brought to life through floral installations, styled vignettes, couture presentations, and experiential spaces. Each setup offered a glimpse into the possibilities of a modern wedding: elegant, meaningful, and uniquely reflective of the couple at its center.

“Through this platform, we wanted to showcase how celebrations can become more meaningful when hospitality, creativity, and thoughtful experiences come together.”

Fashion designer Francis Libiran presents his signature bridal creations.

Adding depth to the weekend was The Aisle Conversations, a masterclass series featuring industry professionals who shared insights on planning, beauty preparation, styling, ceremony direction, and content creation. The sessions offered practical guidance for couples navigating the often overwhelming world of wedding decisions.

Beauty queen Ahtisa Manalo appears as the muse for featured designer Val Taguba.

Fashion also took the spotlight with a couture showcase by Francis Libiran, followed by A Luminous Atelier, an editorial bridal presentation by Val Taguba. Featuring sculptural silhouettes, romantic details, and modern couture pieces, Taguba’s collection closed the showcase with beauty queen Ahtisa Manalo as muse.

In collaboration with Beyond Creatives, led by Mauie Castañeda, Light The Aisle presented a luminous vision of modern weddings; thoughtful, elevated, and beautifully personal.
