Featuring Omee Herr and Trela Guinto
Some love stories begin quietly, and then unfold into something extraordinary. For Omee and Trela, it all began with a simple swipe right on Hinge, one that led to a first date meant to be just a quick glass of wine. Instead, it turned into dinner, then hours of conversation, laughter, and connection as they closed down the bar together.

“Though it lasted eight hours, the day flew by,” Trela recalled. “It was filled with honest conversations, laughter, and even our first kiss.”

From the start, their differences complemented each other beautifully. Omee brought spontaneity and adventure into their lives, while Trela balanced their journey with thoughtful intention and careful planning. Those contrasts deepened their connection and gave them the courage to face life’s challenges side by side.

Their engagement unfolded just as intentionally as their relationship. In a touching reflection of their equal partnership, both women proposed to each other. Trela first surprised Omee on a breezy beach in Long Beach, California, the day before Omee’s half marathon.

What Omee thought was simply a casual photo outing with friends became something unforgettable when Trela picked up a guitar and performed a song she had written just for her before asking the question.
“She thought I was just creating content,” Trela shared with a laugh. “But in that beautiful moment, she said yes.”

A month later, Omee planned a surprise of her own. After a Sabrina Carpenter concert and a wine tasting tour among the rolling autumn hills of Oregon, she turned the tables and proposed to Trela, who happily said yes again.

Their wedding day arrived after a year of anticipation and careful planning. The ceremony was designed to feel airy and graceful, allowing love to take center stage. Three reserved chairs honored Trela’s grandparents and Omee’s mother, reminding everyone that their presence was still deeply felt.

For Omee, one moment will forever remain etched in her heart. “As I stood waiting at the altar, everything around me grew quiet,” she said.
“When the doors opened and I saw Trela walking toward me, time felt like it stopped. All I could see was her.”

The couple exchanged heartfelt vows, sharing promises and dreams that reflected the life they were building together.

The reception, designed with classic elegance, quickly turned into a joyful celebration. Guests were delighted with personal cakes instead of a traditional wedding cake, and laughter filled the room as the newlyweds made a playful grand entrance to their remix of “Where Is My Husband?”, cleverly transformed into “Where Is My Wife?”

Their first dance to “Blessed the Broken Road” set the tone for a night of heartfelt speeches, music, and unforgettable surprises, including a song Trela secretly wrote and performed for Omee.
Looking back, the day felt almost surreal.

“Our wedding day was the best day of our lives so far,” Trela shared. “Having the people I love from all over the world in one place to celebrate with us was truly unforgettable.”

For Omee, one memory stands above all: “When our eyes met as Trela walked down the aisle, time stood still. That moment will stay with me forever.”
