In 2022, when things were returning to normal, a mutual friend invited Katrina to a badminton game with Brznf’s group. From there, their friendship reignited. Facebook messages turned into long conversations, and soon, Brznf asked Katrina on a date. Their first movie together? Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Three months later, their relationship became official. It was an easy, peaceful, and secure kind of love—the kind that both had always hoped for.

When Brznf and Katrina planned their trip to Australia and New Zealand in September 2023, she had no idea she was about to experience a life-changing moment—mid-air. As adventure lovers, they booked a skydiving activity. Katrina knew Brznf was afraid of heights, so when he appeared unusually pale before the jump, she thought it was just nerves. What she didn’t realize was that he was about to propose.

As they landed, Katrina was greeted by a camera capturing her every move. Confused, she looked up—and there was Brznf, kneeling before her, asking her to marry him. Overwhelmed with joy, she said yes. Their parents, who had suspected the proposal all along, cried with happiness over a video call. And just like that, wedding plans were underway.

No wedding is without surprises, and theirs was no exception. Rain showers threatened the outdoor ceremony, but as if on cue, the skies cleared just as Katrina made her entrance—a divine blessing, as they saw it.

Their bridal car, a 1947 Jaguar V, encountered an unexpected breakdown, leading to a last-minute replacement. But thanks to their coordinator’s quick thinking, the transition was seamless, and they remained stress-free.

Katrina has always adored period dramas and vintage elegance. Inspired by Bridgerton, the couple chose a dreamy color palette of dusty blue, mauve, and old rose. They had initially dreamed of an English garden or a Tuscan villa wedding, but practicality led them to the next best thing—a lush garden venue in Tagaytay, Arocarria, which perfectly embodied their vision.

Bizu provided a French vintage-themed menu, elevating the sophisticated ambiance. Their invitations featured floral borders in their signature colors, and the entourage’s gowns reflected the same hues—old rose for the moms, mauve for the godmothers, and dusty blue for the bridesmaids.

As for the wedding favors? Katrina wanted something interactive, useful, and elegant. They chose Tanglaw-ilaw, which offered candle-making and room spray stations, where guests could create their own custom souvenirs.

A special highlight of the wedding was the presence of their beloved dogs. Basty, their pug, proudly walked as the ring bearer, while Boni, their chihuahua, pranced down the aisle as the “flowerdog.” Dressed in matching dusty blue outfits, they stole the show and melted hearts.

The guests, enchanted by the nostalgic setlist, couldn’t stop raving about the band, making their wedding an unforgettable experience.
