Featuring Adrian Wang and Sachiko Koriyama

Adrian Wang and Sachiko Koriyama’s love story is a testament to resilience, patience, and the magic of destiny. What began as a casual introduction on a Zoom call in 2020 blossomed into an extraordinary romance that defied borders, lockdowns, and the challenges of long-distance love.

Adrian admits he wasn’t seeking a relationship when he first met Sachiko. Having been single for seven years, he approached love cautiously. But Sachiko, with her radiant energy and lighthearted spirit, quickly broke through his walls. Despite being separated—Adrian in Singapore and Sachiko in Japan—they nurtured their bond through daily video calls and constant communication. When borders finally opened in 2022, their first meeting in the Philippines confirmed what they had both begun to hope: this connection was the real deal.

In 2023, Adrian orchestrated an unforgettable proposal in Tokyo, with a flash mob involving friends and family. It was a moment filled with joy, surprise, and overwhelming love—perfectly capturing the essence of their relationship.

Their wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. Held under the warm embrace of sunshine despite an ominous forecast of a typhoon, the couple celebrated surrounded by 191 of their closest friends and family. The theme, awash in pastel lavender, symbolized calm and resilience—qualities that defined their love through years of distance and uncertainty.

The venue was adorned with butterfly lights, a nod to the transformation their relationship underwent. Each fluttering glow represented the journey from separate lives to a shared future. Lush floral arrangements in lavender, blush pink, and soft blues wove a romantic tapestry, symbolizing the beauty and growth of their love.

One standout moment was their reception’s Taylor Swift-themed grand entrance—a spontaneous burst of energy that turned into an impromptu dance party. It reflected the joy and playfulness that has always been at the heart of their bond.

The day was also rich with deeply personal touches. Their cake, adorned with Sakura blossoms, honored their engagement in Japan and the seasons of love they had shared. The presence of both of Sachiko’s fathers added an emotional depth to the ceremony, embodying the harmony and unity the couple cherished.

Adrian and Sachiko’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration of love; it was a triumphant conclusion to a four-year journey of long-distance devotion. It was the beginning of their forever, proving that love—true, steadfast, and enduring—can weather any storm.
