Singer-actress Angeline Quinto and her long-time partner Nonrev Daquina celebrated their love by tying the knot last Thursday, April 25, at the historic Quiapo Church in Manila. Both being devout followers of the Black Nazarene, it was a natural choice for them to exchange vows in this 95-year-old cathedral.
Angeline looked stunning in an off-shoulder mermaid gown and a long sheer veil designed by Neric Beltran. Her bridal ensemble was accentuated by an elegant white phalaenopsis orchid with a photo charm of her late grandmother, Lola Bob. Nonrev looked handsome in a traditional Filipino Barong Tagalog.
Their wedding was graced by notable personalities such as Manila City Mayor Honey Lacuna, Vice Ganda, Erik Santos, Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Martin Nievera, Boy Abunda, Charo Santos-Concio, and Dr. Vicki Belo, among others.
La Belle Fete, the couple’s wedding planner, shared on Instagram their reception at the iconic Manila Hotel, which was adorned with “ingenious Quiapo materials”, including rattan balls, bayong boxes, miniature golden Pinoy jeepneys, place mats, salakot, and sampaguita flowers.
In their post-nup shoot, the couple continued to showcase their love for Filipino craftsmanship by incorporating iconic jeepneys, taho containers, and a sorbetes cart.
As a surprise gift to her Filipino fans, Angeline released a new single titled “Salamat Ika’y Dumating.”
