“I began my business as a bespoke or made-to-order designer. But I did not have a lot of portfolio to show my potential clients. I decided I had to make a bridal collection that reflects my aesthetic and design philosophy when it came to bridalwear,” Yssa Inumerable tells Wedding Essentials.
And, finally, she unveils her very first bridal collection, Éthérée, this year. It features wedding gowns that are lightweight and romantic—fit for a fairytale nuptial or a royal ceremony. “It is a collection that offers an experience for women who do not identify with the conventional aesthetic but seek something simple, effortless, and romantic,” Yssa tells Wedding Essentials. .
Here are some of her designs.
This bias-cut dress shows off all the curves. Interspersed hand-beaded pearls make it extra chic.
This soft pink multi-tiered wedding gown is for the playful bride.
This cream-colored medieval wedding dress is for the ladies who want that royal look.
The designer sought to incorporate story twists into each of the gowns to make them appear unique and powerful. “I used silk charmeuse, gazar, organza, and dull satin to create a soft dreamy glow. Having subtle colors such as peach, pink, and off-white was a fun way to add some character and make any wedding dress unique.”
