It all began not with a plan, but with a plea.
Ten years ago, Kathy Sy-King received an unexpected request from a dear friend, two weeks before his wedding, without a stylist and without a clue. Having just completed an interior design project for him, Kathy and her team were asked, “Could you style my wedding?”

It was unfamiliar territory, but something about the urgency and intimacy of the moment stirred her. They said yes, and that yes became the beginning of a lifelong calling.

In sixteen hours, they transformed a bare space into a love story told through design. When the lights dimmed and the music played, Kathy saw something that would forever change her path: the joy, the awe, the quiet magic of a moment made unforgettable.
From that spark, she fell in love with the art of celebration, where every flower, every flicker of light, and every carefully chosen detail could whisper emotion.

A decade later, Kathy Sy-King, together with husband and business partner Don King, the brand has become one of the most respected names in wedding styling in the Philippines.
Her approach is rooted not in signature aesthetics, but in empathy. “We are chameleons,” she says, believing that true artistry lies in transformation.

Each wedding she designs is deeply personal, crafted not to reflect her, but the couple’s essence. Whether minimalist or opulent, every setup feels like a living portrait of love.
For Kathy, the most unforgettable moments are when her own work takes her breath away, when a design transcends the plan and becomes something bigger, more soulful. Those are the instances when she realizes just how far she’s come, and how boundless creativity can be when guided by heart.

A Kathy Sy-King bride is defined not by trends but by truth. She is intentional, expressive, and unafraid to celebrate her story in her own way.
And to those who aspire to follow in Kathy’s footsteps, her advice is simple yet profound: design with empathy, master the art of invisible work, and always stay enchanted.
Because in the end, the most beautiful celebrations are born not just from vision, but from love, grace, and a heart that never stops believing in magic.
