Recently, the Isla Grand Ballroom at Edsa Shangri-La, Manila, opened its doors to an extraordinary gathering that felt more like a dream than an event. Strictly RSVP returned for its second season—an exclusive, by-invitation-only affair that brought together the country’s most celebrated event designers, creatives, and tastemakers. But this wasn’t just a showcase. It was a masterclass in the magic of meaningful celebrations.

For engaged couples in search of inspiration, Strictly RSVP 2025 was nothing short of revelatory. It offered a glimpse into how a wedding—or any milestone, really—can be transformed into a living, breathing expression of love, identity, and intention.
Each of the five visionary designers—Gideon Hermosa, Dave Sandoval, Randy Lazaro, Kathy Sy-King, and Drew Menor—created immersive vignettes that moved beyond floral arrangements and table settings.

Their designs told stories. Stories of romance, heritage, whimsy, and bold individuality. From delicate lighting to unexpected textures and color palettes that danced with emotion, each setup invited guests to feel something personal and profound.
But it wasn’t only the eyes that feasted. The event treated guests to a gastronomic experience designed to mirror the emotion and energy of each vignette. With four distinct cuisines artfully presented, every course felt like an extension of the narrative—each bite a new chapter in a larger celebration.
What Strictly RSVP 2025 ultimately offered wasn’t just visual or culinary delight—it was vision. A reminder that weddings and celebrations are not just events to plan, but stories to tell. They are opportunities to honor love in all its dimensions, and to share that love in ways that are authentic, artful, and unforgettable.

For couples dreaming up their own big day, the night sparked countless possibilities—and perhaps more importantly, it reminded them that when celebration meets soul, magic happens.
