Featuring Benjamin M. Eusebio and Faye Angeles-Eusebio
Both Benjamin “Jam” Eusebio and Faye Angeles-Eusebio hail from Pulilan, Bulacan, a town known for its rich traditions and deep sense of community. Though they shared the same school service during their younger years, fate kept them apart, with their paths merely crossing but never truly intertwining. It wasn’t until more than a decade later, amidst the uncertainties of the 2020 pandemic, that destiny finally intervened.
Jam, having pursued his studies in Katipunan, and Faye, an aspiring entrepreneur and Electrical Engineering graduate, led separate lives for twelve years. Their long-overdue reunion occurred at the North Polo Club, Jam’s family property, where local government officials held a coordination meeting. A simple yet heartfelt message from Faye checking in on Jam reignited their connection. However, their differences initially proved challenging—Jam’s cheerful and extroverted nature clashed with Faye’s more reserved personality.
But love has a way of finding common ground. With persistence and a shared pursuit of growth, Jam convinced Faye to take their master’s degrees together. The academic environment became the bridge that brought them closer, allowing them to rediscover each other in a new light. Late-night study sessions, laughter-filled classrooms, and the camaraderie of friends deepened their bond. On November 20, 2022, their love story took its next chapter as they officially became a couple.
A Proposal to Remember
Jam’s proposal was nothing short of magical, a carefully orchestrated surprise filled with love, family, and a touch of Filipino elegance. Just three days before his sister Nicole’s wedding, Jam planned a heartwarming moment disguised as her despedida de soltera. To keep Faye unsuspecting, she was actively involved in event preparations, running errands and accompanying Nicole throughout the day.
As they arrived at the venue, Faye was greeted by eighty guests, each handing her a single red rose while the enchanting melody of So This Is Love played on a saxophone. The final reveal came when Jam’s father handed her a bouquet and guided her towards a Filipiniana-inspired stage adorned with deconstructed singkaban, solihiya patterns, and an abundance of flowers. Behind Jam, illuminated letters glowed with the question: “Will You Marry Me?”
Overcome with emotion, Faye embraced Jam’s father before making her way to the man who had captured her heart. As Jam nervously voiced his heartfelt proposal, Faye, through joyful tears, said the word that changed their lives forever: “Yes.” Fireworks lit up the sky, synchronized with a dazzling light show, celebrating the beginning of their forever.
A Wedding United with Culture and Tradition
Their wedding was a reflection of their heritage, love for family, and the vibrant spirit of their hometown. Held at the Big Ben Barn Events Place in North Polo Club, the venue was deeply personal—it was not just a beautiful setting but a place brimming with memories and familial warmth.
The celebration embraced Filipino traditions, beginning with the couple’s attire. Jam and Faye, along with their entourage, donned elegant Filipiniana outfits, exuding timeless sophistication. A live rondalla serenaded guests with folk melodies, while guests feasted on a curated selection of Filipino delicacies, showcasing the rich flavors of Bulacan’s culinary heritage.
A breathtaking fifty-horse parade—an homage to the groom’s family’s passion for polo—accompanied the bridal car’s grand entrance. This majestic display, set against the lush polo field, symbolized both the couple’s union and their shared love for home.
Moments of Magic: Lights in the Sky
Determined to create a wedding unlike any other, Jam and Faye fused tradition with modern spectacle. Instead of an ordinary fireworks display, they incorporated a synchronized drone show, illuminating the sky with intricate patterns that told their love story. Roses, hearts, and the couple’s names were etched into the night, blending technology and emotion into a breathtaking visual symphony.
As guests gazed in awe, the couple stood hand in hand, watching their journey unfold in lights—a testament to their creativity, passion, and unwavering devotion to one another.
A Love Story Rooted in Heritage
Beyond aesthetics, every element of their wedding paid tribute to their roots. They enlisted local Bulacan artisans to craft intricate singkaban arches and puni coconut leaf décor, infusing their celebration with authenticity. Even their vows, invitations, and speeches were delivered in their native tongue, honoring their rich cultural background.
Every element of the wedding reflected the couple’s love for their heritage and family, creating a celebration that was not just beautiful but also profoundly meaningful. By blending Bulacan culture, Filipino traditions, and personal family elements, they crafted a wedding that left an indelible mark on all who were part of it.
Their wedding was more than just an event—it was a homecoming, a heartfelt embrace of love, family, and the traditions that shaped them. As they danced the Pandang-Pandang, a traditional wedding folk dance, surrounded by the cheers of loved ones, it was clear: Jam and Faye’s love story was not just about two people but about the communities and traditions that made them who they are.
With laughter, light, and love, Jam and Faye embarked on a new chapter—one filled with the promise of forever, rooted in a past that made their journey extraordinary.
