In a year brimming with remarkable events, few are as anticipated as Tadhana (Destiny)—a collaboration between Wedding Essentials Magazine and The Manila Hotel. This grand affair celebrates the 20th anniversary of Wedding Essentials, a publication that has become a beloved companion for brides and grooms-to-be, guiding them through one of life’s most meaningful milestones. Together with the iconic Manila Hotel, Tadhana promises to deliver an evening that will leave its mark on the wedding industry and those who have cherished its artistry.

Scheduled from October 17 to 20, 2024, Tadhana is more than just a milestone; it is a tribute to love, artistry, and the dreams of countless couples whose stories Wedding Essentials has beautifully chronicled over the past two decades. From cover to cover, the magazine has celebrated the creativity of wedding suppliers and the heartfelt journeys of couples, making it a go-to source for wedding inspiration. Now, with the “Grand Dame of Manila” as its venue, this event is set to elevate the experience to new heights.

Celebrating two decades as the premier wedding magazine in the Philippines, Wedding Essentials proudly pays tribute to Filipino craftsmanship and design through an exclusive photo exhibit entitled: Through the Pages– featuring the works of renowned photographer Doc Marlon Pecjo. As part of the Tadhana event, this special showcase highlights his iconic artistry, capturing the essence of fashion in weddings in the Philippines.

In addition to the photo exhibit, attendees will be treated to stunning vignettes displayed at the historic Manila Hotel lobby. These artistic displays will be curated by some of Manila’s most celebrated event stylists, photographers, designers, and cake artists. The featured creatives include event stylists Drew Menor, Joyce Aguilar, Tiger Lim, and Randy Lazaro; cake artists Audrey’s Pastries, Mannix Peña, Angelyn’s Cakes and Penk Ching; and photography and videography teams like Metrophoto and Amady. Attendees will also marvel at the bridal designs of Carina Canlas, Mikee Andrei, Patty Valle, and Ryan Ablaza-Uson.

A special highlight of Tadhana will be an exclusive gala night on October 17, which is dedicated to suppliers and newly-wed couples who have been part of the Wedding Essentials journey. This gala will feature stunning bridal creations from renowned designers such as AJ Javier, Audwin Lee, Catherine Cavilte, Christopher Munar, Yeye Pantaleon, Doreen Odvina, and master designer Boy Kastner Santos.

This remarkable event wouldn’t be possible without the support of key partners, including 4th wall design and production, Amante Fleurs, BBQ Manila, Christine Ong Te events, Ed Dizon of E Circuit Events, Eds Go, HSBC, Hendricks Gin, Three Hens, G.H. Mumm Champagne, Lhara Labayne, Lotus Cars Manila, Lucky Bao Delights, Madge Lejano, MC Pascual Event Syling, MINI Philippines, Mixcraft lights and sound, Paparazzi by NQ, Potchie Guzman, Sensitivity Lights and Sound, Shutterbox, Triple luck nail salon, Twin Lakes Hotel Tagaytay and media partners: The Manila Bulletin and  Weddings at Work.
