The gathered data by the Philippine Statistics Authority released a preliminary report that there has been a total of 147,543 weddings from January to August of 2020. As for the same duration for 2021, there have been 211,247 marriages that have been officiated.
The data has been extracted from event registered at the Office of the City/municipal registrar, and have been submitted for encoding to the Office of the Civil Registrar General through the Provincial Statistical Offices of the Philippine Statistics Authority.
This shows that while 2020 has been a challenging year for all of us, 2021 has made us realized that there will always be a solution to the problems we are facing. Love will find a way for people to get married and seal the deal with ceremony and a celebration—be it an intimate one.
