Jasmine Maierhofer’s fairytale prenup shoot is what dreams are made of

“It feels like I’m in Europe floating with my dream guy.”

When you grew up in your parents’ castle, it’s only but natural that you dream of having your very own prince charming when the time is right.

And the time has come for Jasmine Maeirhofer to celebrate her engagement to Angelo Patrimonio with a prenuptial shoot set in Jasmine’s parents’ Tropicana Castle in Puerto Galera. “Tropicana Castle is so dear to my heart. It’s the fruit of the hard work of my parents. Growing up here, I saw how It’s made with love and passion, from four rooms now to 60 rooms. I couldn’t be any prouder. It’s a must for me to have my prenup taken in this beautiful castle,” she tells Wedding Essentials.

The concept, for Jasmine, was “King and Queen in our own fairytale.” And they shot this last March 3, 2021, which was the original date of their wedding. “Because of the pandemic, we moved it and used the date to shoot our prenup.” She added that it was easy to plan with the help of Kim Torres Events, Nice Print Photo team, stylist Reynaldo Santos Jr. and hairstylist/makeup artist Dave Grona.

“I also want my friends to discover the amazing tourism the island can offer. Growing up in that castle I used to daydream of my own prince charming. Now that I’m getting married with him, this is the perfect place to have our pre-wedding shoots,” says Jasmine. Though they stayed there for three days, they were able to shoot everything in just one day.

Shooting everything in one day was indeed challenging. “We needed to shoot in four different locations (Sinandigan Lighthouse, Tropicana Castle Resort in Sabang Beach, Pirate Ship in Muelle Port, and Aninuan Beach) and we were very strict with the time.” Her favorite would be the one shot on top of the dome, “Believe it or not, growing up there, it was my first time to be on that spot. I was so overwhelmed when I saw it. It feels like I’m in Europe floating with my dream guy.”

With a dreamy shoot any bride-to-be would wish for, Jasmine advises, “Be a bridechilla, not a bridezilla. Just enjoy and savor every moment of it. Don’t rush with anything, just follow where the wind leads you. You might not know that it’s all leading into God’s way. Always check out Wedding Essentials. They always got our back. They’re the experts of creating our dream wedding.”
