In the Philippines’ competitive wedding landscape, it is quite a feat to make a name for yourself. The idea of withstanding the years and creating a trusted name and brand is even more daunting. Despite all of this, Michael Ruiz has made his mark, not just in the country’s wedding industry, but on the global market – and we are not surprised.

With an unwavering passion for event styling, Michael Ruiz started his own company in 2008. From then on, he has gained clients from different parts of the globe, transforming empty ballrooms into dream wedding settings that looked like they came straight out of a fairytale. His style consists of massive floral arrangements and themed elements that unite together to create a setup that brings his clients to a totally different world. For Michael, the word more really means more. His creations are immersive – creating an out-of-this-world experience and making every bride’s dream come true.

Aside from weddings, one breakthrough project for Michael was when he got the opportunity to do the stage design for Miss Universe 2016. For him, it was something completely unexpected, despite already being the bouquet supplier for the pageant during its previous years. And, like the wedding venue transformations he’s accomplished in the past, Michael’s heart for his craft was also apparent in the Miss Universe stage.
