Celebrating 15 beautiful years, Wedding Essentials magazine is sending more love your way as we launch WE Grooms. Headed by none other than the leading voice in men’s fashion, editor in chief of Garage Magazine, Rey Ilagan. WE Grooms will be releasing two issues every year– on the months of April and October– and will be bundled together with Wedding Essentials magazine. Rey has announced the release of the first issue in the summer of 2020.
To officially launch the perfect partnership between Wedding Essentials’ Editor-in-Chief Kitten Zapata and Rey Ilagan to bring you WE Grooms, a fashion show featuring suits that range from the classics to the trendy was set perfectly at the Tap Room of The Manila Hotel.
The show was hosted by JC Alelis who also looked dapper in a suit. The confined space of the Tap Room allowed the guests to have a closer look at the suits by designers Rau Uson-Ablaza and Paul Tenorio.
Designer Ryan Chris featured gun-metal colors and experimented with the lapels, perfect for grooms who are planning to go for a classic-cut suit but still want an element of surprise.
Rau Uson-Ablaza speaks the language of dapper grooms, as seen in the bold color choices he featured in his collection. If your wedding has a specific theme that needs to be complemented by a colored suit, Rau is the designer for you as he has consistently shown his eye for the perfect color combination of a three-piece suit.
Raf Gonzales is a perfect match for grooms who dare to wear a statement piece on their wedding day. Raf certainly knows how to appropriate folds and clean lines.
