“I’ve always loved decorating our humble home in Tarlac to make it feel cozy and beautiful,” he shared.
He had his break working with Hizon’s Catering, where he started as a dispatcher in the kitchen, then became a sales representative, event planner, and eventually the catering’s head stylist.
“After years of working for Hizon’s Catering, I decided to go my own way and established DMES in 2018. And the rest, as they say, is history,” he said.
Drew has always been a people-person, where building relationships and trust with clients is one of his key strengths. Even though his event styling company is still in its early stages, it already has an edge in the industry.
“DMES is fairly new in the event styling industry, but we always strive to give our best in every event we handle, making our clients’ dream events a reality,” he said.
When asked about their secret, he explained, “There’s no secret—just giving my best in every event we have, a discipline I instill in all my staff.”
When asked about the most fulfilling part of his job, he shared, “When clients, especially couples and debutantes, send me their messages of thanks after each event. Their appreciation has always been my motivation.”
“As we say in Filipino, nakakataba ng puso at palagi iyong nagbibigay sa akin ng lakas para ipagpatuloy ang pagta-trabaho. This job is not easy, especially with the long hours, but their gratitude has always given me strength,” he expressed.
