For guests dressing for a Filipino garden or beach wedding, Jor-el Espina’s Dekada collection presents a vibrant approach to contemporary occasion wear; light, expressive, and rooted in craft.

Created for ArteFino’s milestone celebration, Isang Dekada, the collection reflects Espina’s 10-year journey with the artisanal platform. “I always feel like I’m starting all over again; discovering, experimenting, improving, and learning,” the designer shares.

Handcrafted using predominantly handwoven pineapple fabrics, the garments offer breathable elegance suited to outdoor celebrations. Reimagined barongs appear in vibrant stripes and candy-colored panels, while apron tops, tapis skirts, and versatile separates allow guests to layer, mix, and adjust their looks from a sunlit ceremony to an evening reception.

Espina’s signature couture-inspired details elevate each piece. Laser cutting, silk screening, hand painting, beadwork, and unexpected colored safety pins lend individuality, ensuring that no two garments feel exactly alike.

While the designer remains known for natural and muted tones, Dekada embraces brighter hues and playful contrasts. The result is a buildable wardrobe for wedding guests seeking modern Filipino style; polished enough for the occasion, comfortable for tropical settings, and distinctive enough to celebrate in.

JOR-EL ESPINA’s DEKADA Collection will be exclusively available at ArteFino: Isang Dekada from July 30 to August 2, 2026 at the ArteFino Atelier (beside the elevators), The Fifth, Powerplant Mall. For more information and updates, follow @jorel_espinaph.
