Weddings by Crimson recently held its first-ever beachfront fashion show, set against the beautiful sunset of Boracay at Station Zero. As one of the Philippines’ popular destinations, Crimson Boracay is known for its luxurious, romantic, and world-class experiences, further affirming its reputation as an exceptional wedding venue in the country.

Didier Belmonte, General Manager of Crimson Boracay, welcomed guests and opened the event by emphasizing the resort’s commitment to creating memorable moments. “With its stunning shores, curated experiences, and unparalleled hospitality, Crimson Boracay provides the perfect setting for couples to begin their journey together. This event is a celebration of love, artistry, and the seamless fusion of fashion and romance.”

The highlight of the evening was a bridal fashion show featuring the works of renowned Filipino designer Bessie Besana, who is based in New York. With the theme “Ray of Twilight,” each piece in the collection evokes meaning and details that reflect creativity and Filipino artistry.

In an interview with Wedding Essentials, Besana shared his inspiration behind the collection in collaboration with Weddings by Crimson. “I designed this collection with the Boracay sun in mind. I wanted each dress to perfectly complement the beach as a backdrop. I named the collection Ray of Twilight because it represents the most beautiful time of day,” he said.

“You only get about 10 minutes of this moment each day, and if you miss it, you have to wait another 24 hours. I envisioned these dresses transitioning seamlessly from an afternoon look to twilight and finally into the evening, closing the festivities,” he added.

When it comes to style, Besana emphasized feminine silhouettes. “The collection showcased delicate, feminine shapes, intricate lacework, and a modern take on classic cuts.”

He also expressed his perspective on the meaningful showcase of his latest collection. “This collection is a tribute to the women I dress — women who are diverse yet share an undeniable aura of elegance and strength. ”

The show concluded with a special and romantic moment as Miss World Philippines 2022 and Century Superbods 2024 winner, Justine Felizarta, walked the runway alongside restaurateur Ben Arnold as a real-life couple.

Weddings by Crimson celebrates love in its most genuine and most beautiful form. Couples can experience its magic at Crimson Mactan, Boracay, and Manila.
