Chanel, as expected, ended its fall/winter 21-22 couture show with its usual bridal gown as its runway finale. This time though, their ambassador, actress Margaret Qualley stepped out in a floor-length gown in light pink hue.
Chanel has always been known to change things up with its classic pieces, and this wedding gown didn’t fail to make that statement. Everything was subtle, but when combined, gives off an overall look that makes our hearts flutter with delight.
With deliberately no embellishments, the light pink shade stood out, highlighting the voluminous A-line skirt with wide-pleats that started from the sides to the back. We’re also loving the romantic touch of it puffed sleeves.
The accents deserve a spotlight, making this vintage-inspired design rebellious. We’re loving their black pillbox hat with pink bow detail, and the multi-colored dotted veil makes this a fun ensemble to wear on your special day.
And, another expected program detail, Margart Qualley tossed her colourful bouquet toward the crowd. InStyle editor-in-chief Laura Brown was the lucky girl who caught it. She is engaged to comedian Brandon Borror-Chappell. Who knows? She just might wear Chanel Couture Bride. If that’s the case, she’s one lucky bride.
