Actor and Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla exchanged wedding vows with his beautiful fiancé, Binibining Pilipinas 1st Runner Up, Angelica Alita at Newport Beach in California on December 15, 2019.
The intimate affair was attended by friends, family, and some high profile political figures such as Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, House Majority Leader and Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez, Cavite Vice Governor Jonvic Remulla, former senator Jinggoy Estrada. Also in attendance were the groom’s parents, Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado.
The garden affair was held at the picturesque Pelican Hill resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Master photographer Lito Sy captured the breathtaking colors of the sunset and the warm glow that embraced the couple as well as the sweeping views of the venue.
Angel walked down Pelican Hill’s outdoor aisle leading to the resort’s iconic Italian rotunda perched 300 feet above the ocean in a strapless ball gown by designer Paul Cabral.
The bride kept her styling simple with a romantic updo, minimal jewelry with only a pop of color on her lips to highlight her mestiza features. She clutched a bouquet of white flowers and wore an embellished veil looking every inch of her namesake.
Paul also did the groom’s classic black and white suit while the entourage and the sponsors wore romantic shades of blush and crimson.
The emotional sunset ceremony officiated by Pastor Peter Kairuz of 700 Club Philippines had both the bride and the groom in tears as they said their heartfelt vows to each other.
A wedding reception soon followed at one of Pelican Hill’s elegant function rooms. The bride had several outfit changes during the course of the evening and looked radiant as she shared her first dance with her new husband. Rita Neri of Rita Neri Event Planner, Robert Blancaflor and their team of stylists and florists made sure the event went without a hitch.
