Antipolo’s annual bridal fair kicks off this month.
The advent of the Covid 19 pandemic in the year 2020, brought challenges that has never been known in the whole world, with the tourism sector among the greatest impacts. Travelling which is an essential factor in tourism came to a halt where almost everyone seemed to be lost in space and gasped for hope to keep their businesses afloat.
To assist and support Antipolo’s private partners in the tourism industry, the city have sustained programs, such as the annual Tourism Fair and now their annual bridal fair which will run from March 11 to 13, 2022 at Waltermart Antipolo’s ground floor Activity Center.
The concept of the fair originally emanated from our desire to offer something special and memorable to the couples who will avail of the “Kasalang Bayan” during the month March as it also coincides with the birth month of Mayor Jun Ynares. Though the couples may want it simple and low-budgeted, we wanted them to remember a unique experience during their matrimony.
“This is where we infused the idea of gathering up our private partners in the wedding industry to provide opportunities in marketing their products and services as well as to determine their market potentials not only in Antipolo but also in the Province of Rizal and nearby citiesWith these in mind, the Antipolo Wedding Fair started in the year 2017, to promote Antipolo as the “Next Wedding Destination”.”, says Marino Bacani, Tourism Head for the City of Antipolo.
Formulating different themes, to meet and connect with the changing clamor in celebrating this momentous romantic event, it also serves as a platform to explore and discover destinations, venues and talents of our wedding suppliers.
Now on its 6th year, the camaraderie of the wedding suppliers continues to blossom and initiates joint ventures as well as project partnerships. These happen while reaching new target groups, building clients’ trust and gaining market shares to re engine their marketing strategies as the city continue to strongly revitalize from this pandemic period.
