When soon-to-wed couple Richard Gonzales and Ellyz Santos got engaged, they immediately knew they wanted to do their prenup shoot outdoors. Fate brought them to Anawangin Cove, Zambales, which is a favorite among nature lovers and campers in the Philippines.
“We cannot forget how beautiful the scenery is and how we went up the mountain to get the perfect shots. Climbing that wet slippery mountain side, wearing the dress, fully made up, under the hot sun, was no easy task. But it was all worth it. Also, a funny thing happened, right after we had our shoot under the blazing rays of the sun, it rained really hard. We were so lucky that we got to finish the shoot first before the storm. It was a really fun day!”
Staying true to the troopers they are, the couple rose up to the challenge of traveling to Anawangin Cove to do an ocular for their shoot, “…to reach Anawangin you need to ride a boat for almost an hour, so our ocular became an island-hopping adventure. And that’s how our love story is, it wasn’t an easy ride but it was totally worth it. It was a long and beautiful ride.”
Richard and Ellyz’s photos were captured by Gatz Creatives in different perspectives that remind us of how breathtaking the Philippines is in every angle. At a time where couples fly to other countries to do their shoot, it’s quite refreshing for us to discover local sights that parallel the wonders of the world.
