KARIMADON is a fashion retail brand that continues to make women feel and look beautiful at any day or at any event. Established in 1980, the label has grown into over thirty boutique stores all over the country with branches in Indonesia as well as a distributor in Canada.
Aiming to elevate the established label’s status as the go-to retail store for providing affordable luxury for women, Ms. Josie Go – the woman behind Karimadon says:
“Working with the hottest and most talented designers gives our customers the chance to own something extra special, because we produce them in very limited pieces, we want to give our customers the experience of wearing designer pieces at affordable prices.”

Enter Rosenthal Tee. Rosenthal is a talented Instituto Marangoni graduate who has been making her mark in the global fashion industry specializing in bridal and eveningwear couture. The young designer was a perfect match for the vision of the brand with her feminine aesthetic and strong structural pieces. According to her, it took a year to plan the collaboration and conceptualize.
“Karimadon is known for their fail-safe and overtly feminine designs that I wanted to inject some strength and power into the collection by incorporating solid colors such as pops of oranges and reds as well as navy and hunter green which I’m loving right now.”
The result is a breathtaking holiday collection inspired by an English rose garden at dusk presented at the ultra-exclusive Manila House Private Club. The muses who got to wear the beautiful pieces were comprised of strong and powerful multi-faceted women such as Almira Teng, Nicole Cordoves, Laura Lehmann, Janeena Chan, Kaila Estrada, Dani Barretto, and Nicole Anderson to name a few.

Having her roots in bridal wear, Rosenthal explains – “I thought about what a Rosenthal Tee woman would wear on a normal day leading up to the day she gets to wear a bedazzled Rosenthal Tee gown, but I am Rosenthal Tee so I thought about my personal preferences. I get cold easily so I wanted double puffed sleeves, I’m always tripping but I wanted a ball skirt with a ruffled hem so I came up with a high-low skirt for easy movement. I love wearing trousers but it’s always so hot here so I also came up with dressy shorts. Each piece here was really drawn from experience.”
The fabrics used in the collection such as Duchess satin and French tulle blend cohesively with garments made from neoprene and crepe. Transitional pieces are given importance in this collection as it focuses on allowing women to mix and match as well as move with ease as they go about their day. Perhaps the most eye-catching of them all is the multi-tiered Point D’Esprit lace gowns in cream, coral and scarlet that have a distinctly Rosenthal Tee stamp. It’s a perfect dress for any special event or for a bridal entourage styled with either a stylish vintage-inspired straw hat or romantic floral hair accents.

“This collection is really meant for women to play up their own distinct style, and in a color palette that is timely for the holiday season but also without season. They can be worn for a very long time, in a rotation from your closet.”
