When Gatsby meets romance

For soon-to-weds dreaming of a wedding that marries old-world glamour with fresh, modern elegance, Blooms Event Styling’s setup is nothing short of inspirational.

With seven years of experience in styling all kinds of events—weddings, debuts, kids’ parties, and corporate gatherings—Blooms Event Styling has carved its own unique space in the industry. What sets them apart is their deep-rooted background in interior design.

That foundational expertise brings a refined, architectural touch to their creative work. An attention to structure, flow, and ambiance that resonates in every styled space.

For WE Dream Themes, they were given “Great Gatsby” as their motif—a theme that has been interpreted many times over, often filled with feathers, jazz-age patterns, and the classic black-and-gold palette. But Blooms approached it differently. Allen and JP’s Gatsby-inspired scene felt like a romantic reinvention, far from formulaic.

“We wanted to avoid the obvious,” they shared. “Instead of feathers and the usual black and gold, we went with an emerald green base to create depth, sophistication, and richness.” Accents of blush, gray, white, and just the right touches of gold brought softness and luxury, striking a harmonious balance between masculine elegance and timeless romance.

It was a setup that whispered rather than shouted—art deco patterns subtly integrated, lush florals layered with textured fabrics, and golden chandeliers casting a warm glow across the room. The scene reflected not just the opulence of the roaring twenties, but also the couple’s personality: bold yet refined, classic yet forward-thinking.

In a world where wedding themes can sometimes feel repetitive, Blooms Event Styling proved that even the most well-loved motifs can be transformed with thoughtful design and heart.

For soon-to-weds hoping to infuse their wedding with meaning, style, and a touch of unexpected brilliance, Allen and JP’s Gatsby-inspired setup is a reminder: your dream day should reflect who you are—not just what’s trending.
