Featuring Adrian M. Rodelas and Franchesca Bianca A. Peralta

Sometimes, love begins quietly, through a message you never expected to receive. For Adrian M. Rodelas and Franchesca Bianca A. Peralta, it all started when his mom and her tita secretly exchanged their Messenger accounts.

Days later, a simple greeting arrived: “Hi, sorry if ngayon lang ako naka-message…” (Hi, sorry if I just messaged.) A casual line that would soon bloom into something life-changing.

At the time, Adrian was working at sea while Bianca was deep in medical school.

Their worlds couldn’t have been more different, yet they met each other in the middle, between time zones, unstable signals, hospital duties, and exam weeks. Their love grew through long conversations and gentle reassurance. Even their first endearment, “bibe,” was born out of shyness, an innocent substitute for “baby.”

Their first meeting in Greenbelt was meant to be “just as friends,” but nervous smiles and subtle hand-holding revealed a deeper connection. From that day forward, coincidence turned into commitment. Despite differences, milk tea versus brewed coffee, iOS versus Android, aesthetic versus technical, they became each other’s balance. Adrian even promised Bianca’s parents he would wait until she finished medicine before marrying her, a promise he faithfully kept.

The proposal was just as heartfelt. Bianca thought it was simply a hiking trip to Mt. Parawagan with her best friends and brother. No suspicion, no preparations, “As an aesthetic girl, natawa ako kasi wala man lang akong nails done,” (As an aesthetic girl, I felt foolish, since I have not even had my nails done) Bianca recalled.

But at the summit, Adrian surprised her with a 1-carat diamond ring and a single-stem rose, one ring, one rose, symbolizing one and only love. Beneath open skies, the day before her birthday, she said yes, unprepared, but completely certain.

On their wedding day, Bianca and Adrian chose a ceremony that was solemn and sacred at the Iglesia ni Cristo. With phones prohibited, every guest was fully present as a 45-man choir filled the sanctuary with powerful hymns. To honor their parents, the couple shared an intimate ride from the hotel to the church together, a quiet moment before forever began.

Bianca arrived in an ivory ball gown with a long train, adorned with delicate beadwork and Swarovski crystals. “Elegance isn’t about price,” she shared. “It’s about meaning.” Adrian wore his dress white officer’s uniform, proudly honoring his roots as a Maritime Academy graduate. They rode in a vintage 1929 Cadillac, while cadets rendered ceremonial honors, an unforgettable tribute.

Their reception at Grand Hyatt Manila was a vision of timeless white-on-white elegance, oversized draping, chandeliers, fresh blooms, and dramatic lighting. Their love story greeted guests at the pre-function area, along with a full Pao Larawan studio and a coffee cart that warmed hearts. Bianca and Adrian made sure every guest felt special with plated dinner service.

The night unfolded with an AVP, sword ceremonies, and a lively first dance to “This Will Be.” Bianca even brought Beyoncé-level energy for her bridal production, ending the celebration with a joyful flash mob that turned the ballroom into one big dance floor.

In the end, their wedding wasn’t just beautiful, it was intentional. A celebration of patience, faith, family, and the kind of love that stays steady through every tide.
