Featuring Jeremy B. Yu and Camille Santos
“Our first date was the usual kilig—fun, light, and with no pressure,” Camille recalls. Love didn’t begin with grand gestures but with something simple, saying yes to meeting up.

At 21, she was cautious, especially with her strict parents, but Jeremy’s quiet persistence spoke louder than any words. He patiently courted not only her but also her family, driving from Bulacan to Pampanga just to bring her home.

When the pandemic arrived, instead of drifting apart, their bond only grew deeper. “Being with him felt like breathing,” Camille shares. “I could just be me, and he made me feel safe being exactly that.”
Years later, on what she thought was a casual family trip to Bataan, Jeremy surprised her with a heartfelt proposal. Wearing slippers, no makeup, and messy hair, Camille opened her eyes to lights, a big MARRY ME sign, family, friends, and fireworks.

“I’ve always dreamed of something like that but never thought it would actually happen. A real-life fairytale with messy hair and all the love in the world,” she says.
Their Baguio wedding was everything they envisioned. It was peaceful, intimate, and rooted in grace. Surrounded by towering trees and mountain air, they exchanged vows in an all-white themed garden ceremony.

Camille walked down the aisle to a violin version of Goodness of God, holding a cascading bouquet of orchids and lilies. Playful twists made the day even more personal, older sisters as ring bearers, tall brothers as flower boys, bringing joy and laughter to the solemnity.

One moment stood out most: their pastor’s words. “Celebrate your differences. That is why God put you together, because you are better together.” Camille says those words touched not only their hearts but also those of many guests, grounding their love in faith.

The reception at Frangeli House was just as heartfelt. Their families performed, Camille sang, and Jeremy, usually reserved, surprised everyone by dancing. “It made everyone so happy!” she recalls with laughter.

But the most unforgettable moment wasn’t in the program. After the ceremony, they slipped into the elevator, just the two of them. “No cameras, no music, no guests. Just silence. Just us. It was the quiet joy of knowing…we’re finally married.”
For Jeremy and Camille, it wasn’t the flowers, the views, or even the perfect weather. It was the grace-filled love they found in each other. A quiet kind of love, the kind that stays.
