Located in the heart of San Juan, 18 Missouri is fast becoming one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the area. This charming venue stands out for its ability to provide couples with a space that is both serene and versatile, perfect for creating personalized and intimate celebrations. Recently, it played host to Arlan’s Celestial Garden Soirée, a conceptual wedding event that seamlessly blended nature and celestial elements.

18 Missouri’s design offers a blank canvas for couples, and the Celestial Garden Soirée proved to be a perfect example of how this space can be transformed into something truly magical. Soft, off-white drapery cascaded from the ceiling, mimicking the look of wisps of clouds, while globe lights hung overhead like stars, adding a touch of the ethereal.

Cascading greenery filled the space, further enhancing the natural beauty of the venue. The tables, arranged in organic zigzag patterns, created a modern and fluid layout that deviated from traditional setups, reinforcing the event’s celestial theme.

Each table was adorned with fresh greenery and white florals, balanced by glowing candelabras that provided a soft, romantic glow. The overall ambiance was tranquil, yet filled with the sense of wonder that comes with a celestial celebration, blending nature with divine inspiration in every detail. From the floral arrangements to the lighting and the decor, every element worked together to create an atmosphere where love felt as though it had been written in the stars.

What makes 18 Missouri stand out as a wedding venue is not just its aesthetic beauty, but its flexibility. The venue’s adaptable space allows couples to bring their visions to life, whether they are looking for a garden-inspired wedding or something more modern. It’s the ideal place for those who wish to create a celebration that feels deeply personal, yet also grand and elegant.
The carefully curated menu by Monica Tan from Tjioe the Caterer Inc. offered a delightful variety of dishes, each one thoughtfully prepared to enhance the overall experience. The meal began with a Burrata Salad with Mixed Vegetables, a fresh and vibrant dish featuring creamy burrata paired with crisp vegetables, garlic tomato puree, and a balsamic glaze.

The Mixed Antipasti Platter followed, offering a selection of savory bites, including New Zealand mussels with garlic aioli, seafood crostini, Yin-Yang shrimp balls, and anchovies with tomato on toast. It was a flavorful introduction to the main courses, which included Xinjiang Style Lamb Chops with Mint Sauce, tender lamb seasoned with a flavorful spice blend and complemented by refreshing mint sauce.

For seafood lovers, the Sea Bass with Mango Yogurt Dressing provided a balance of crispy, tender fish with a tangy mango yogurt sauce. The Baked Tiger Lobster with Creamy Cheese Sauce was an indulgent favorite, with succulent lobster paired with a rich cheese sauce.

For dessert, guests were treated to an Espresso-Scented Tiramisu, which elevated the classic dessert with bold coffee flavors and smooth, creamy indulgence.

The wedding cake by Sugarcraft Manila , a Drapery-Inspired Wedding Cake, was designed with understated elegance in mind. Its soft, graceful layers mirrored the couple’s cherished memories, offering a timeless and sophisticated touch to the celebration.

Whether hosting an intimate affair or a grand celebration, it offers couples the opportunity to create a unique and memorable event, perfectly blending creativity, elegance, and love.
