Featuring Mark Jayson Sotto & Jamie Blanch Sotto
Jayson and Jamie’s love story began in 2007, against the backdrop of Quezon City. “Jay joined the TV program Maynila just to meet me,” Jamie recalls with a smile. “It took me by surprise, but that’s how it all started.”

Their relationship blossomed quickly, and by 2013, Jamie had embarked on a career with Qatar Airways, marking the beginning of a challenging long-distance phase.

“After five years apart, Jay decided to join me in the Middle East,” Jamie shares. “It wasn’t easy, but it strengthened our bond.” Little did Jamie know that amidst their shared challenges, Jay was planning a significant moment. “During a vacation in El Nido, Palawan in September 2018, Jay proposed in a lagoon,” Jamie reminisces. “It was completely unexpected after eleven years together.”

The couple’s wedding planning journey was a labor of love, with Jamie meticulously coordinating every detail despite being abroad. They chose The Mango Farm in Antipolo City for its serene ambiance, surrounded by nature, a perfect reflection of their desire for a quiet, elegant celebration. The theme embraced nude and earth-toned colors, complementing the garden setting with minimalist decor that highlighted natural elements.

Their Christian ceremony was a testament to their faith, underscored by instrumental music and heartfelt vows that moved even their suppliers to tears. “Our wedding wasn’t just about us; it was a dedication to God,” Jamie reflects.

Family and friends from around the globe gathered, making the day even more special. “We felt so blessed to have everyone we love present,” Jamie says, noting the emotional tributes to loved ones who couldn’t be there.

Special moments abounded, from Jay’s surprise musical performance to Jamie’s niece’s spontaneous dance, adding joy and energy to the celebration. “It was everything we dreamed of,” Jamie shares.

“Relaxed, warm, and filled with genuine emotion.” Reflecting on their rustic-themed wedding, Jamie concludes, “It was a reflection of who we are as a couple—simple, romantic, and deeply in love.”

Their wedding day was captured beautifully by Don Tapan Photography and Paradox Films, immortalizing every tear, laugh, and heartfelt moment.

“Seeing our love captured so authentically was a gift,” Jamie says gratefully. “It was a day where our journey together was celebrated in the most heartfelt way possible.”
