When it comes to planning a wedding that’s equal parts elegant and unforgettable, Lanson Place proves to be a hidden gem right in the heart of the Mall of Asia complex. More than just a venue, it offers soon-to-weds a seamless, stylish, and stress-free experience from the first meeting to the last dance.

At the center of this wedding celebration was Lanson Place’s elegant ballroom, a space designed for both grand receptions and intimate gatherings. Couples have the freedom to customize layouts, create mood-setting lighting designs, and enjoy exclusive use of their own receiving lobby—elevating the experience to something truly personal. The dedicated events team takes care of everything behind the scenes, so the couple can focus on enjoying every moment.

For those who dream of a reception that feels like a lush island escape, event stylist Julius Villamante of Amante Fleurs turned the ballroom into a tropical paradise. Think wooden accents, vibrant greenery, and florals in vivid hues. The space was styled to echo the breezy beauty of the islands—complete with sustainable elements like replanted foliage and fruit-laden centerpieces that doubled as both décor and take-home treats.

Setting the tone even before guests stepped into the venue were the vibrant invitations by The Write Impression. The theme, “Miami meets Manila,” was all about fun and flair, blending tropical colors with Filipino touches like a gold-foiled solihiya pattern. The result? A playful yet luxurious vibe that captured the couple’s love for the beach and lively celebrations.

And speaking of luxury—let’s talk cake. Mannix Peña of Cakes by Mannix, crafted the cake following the “Tropical Luxe” theme to a tee. Sculptural white leaves met bold orange blooms and purple orchids, all arranged in an artful display that was almost too stunning to slice. It was both a showpiece and a sweet ending.

The culinary experience, led by Executive Chef Kristine Oro, was a feast of flavors and stories. Starting with Zarzuela Ensalada—a refreshing mix of serrano ham, manchego, and guava chutney—to the rich Herbed Crusted Pistachio of Beef with red wine jus, every course was elevated yet comforting.

The finale, a decadent Ginto Praline Cake, echoed Chef Kristine’s passion for food that brings people together. With 24 years of experience and roots in Davao, she brings warmth and world-class technique to every dish.

Beyond the reception, Lanson Place makes sure every detail is covered—from luxurious rooms and suites perfect for bridal prep and honeymoon stays to private dining options for welcome dinners or post-wedding brunches. Guests can enjoy the outdoor infinity pool, lounge areas, and even 24/7 access to the gym for those pre-wedding jitters.

With its strategic location, luxury amenities, and heartfelt hospitality, Lanson Place is more than a venue—it’s a complete wedding destination. For couples looking to celebrate love in a space that’s both stylish and soulful, it just might be the perfect match.
