Featuring Charles Dale T. Solis and Patricia Ingrid R. Gigantone
Sometimes, the most enduring love stories begin quietly—almost unnoticed. Charles and Patricia first crossed paths during their first year of medical school. “We were classmates, but we didn’t really pay much attention to each other,” Patricia shares.

“We were both in separate relationships at the time.” It wasn’t until four years later, on Christmas Day, that fate intervened again—this time, through a simple Instagram message that read, “Merry Christmas.” That small gesture became the spark that led to something extraordinary.

After four years together, Charles proposed during a holiday gathering in Patricia’s hometown—a heartfelt surprise orchestrated with the help of her family. “He planned everything with my siblings and cousins,” she recalls. “It was intimate, meaningful, and absolutely perfect.”

Their wedding, held at the stunning Stella Maris Chapel in Misibis Bay, reflected the same intentionality. The couple’s love for understated elegance came to life in a palette of white and taupe. “We wanted a celebration that felt serene, warm, and deeply reflective of who we are,” says Patricia.

Florals were thoughtfully curated to embody the timelessness and grace they value in their relationship. Patricia, a designer at heart, created their invitations and signages herself—each detail carefully chosen to mirror their style. Even their beloved dog Flynn played a part, appearing on their bar menu with a signature drink named after him.

Patricia wore a custom nude-toned gown by Patricia Santos—an elegant deviation from tradition. “It wasn’t white, and that felt right,” she says. “The color added warmth and individuality while staying true to our theme.” Charles complemented her in a custom barong by Vin Orias—modern, refined, and steeped in quiet sophistication.

Their ceremony, softly lit with natural light and framed by the chapel’s glass walls, was made even more memorable by gentle rain—unplanned, yet beautifully symbolic. “It wasn’t what we envisioned, but it felt real. It reminded us to embrace the beauty in the unexpected.”

For Charles and Patricia, the most unique part of their celebration wasn’t in grand gestures, but in the thoughtful choices that made the day undeniably theirs. “It wasn’t about perfection,” Patricia reflects. “It was about meaning. And every part of it was a reflection of the life we want to build together—intentional, calm, and full of love.”
