Luigi and Rachelle’s love story is one for the books. It didn’t begin with fireworks or grand gestures, but instead, slowly bloomed through time and distance. They first crossed paths in high school, walking along the same hallways but never truly connecting. Even in college, fate placed them at the same school, yet their lives remained parallel. It wasn’t until years later, after Rachelle moved to Canada in 2017, that their lives intertwined. Luigi followed her to Canada in 2021, and from then on, their connection was undeniable.

The relationship unfolded naturally. From casual hangouts to road trips, each moment felt like a puzzle piece fitting perfectly into place. Luigi always knew Rachelle was “the one.” There was no doubt in his mind, and it wasn’t long before he began planning an extraordinary proposal.

During a road trip through Western Canada, Luigi decided to propose at the stunning Lake Louise in Banff. He cleverly arranged for a photographer to disguise themselves as a passerby, offering to take a picture. In a moment straight out of a movie, Luigi dropped to one knee, and Rachelle said yes. Their engagement was as spontaneous and unique as their relationship.

Fast forward to their wedding day, and the breathtaking location that witnessed their engagement became the site of their vows. Banff held deep sentimental value to both, and they wanted to share this experience with their closest family. Keeping the guest list intimate—just under 20 people—they arranged for a helicopter to take their guests to the top of a snow-capped mountain. Surrounded by nature’s grandeur, they pledged their love in the most awe-inspiring setting.

Purple, Rachelle’s favorite color, became the defining element of their wedding theme. Its rich hues blended seamlessly with the majestic backdrop, creating a sense of serenity and elegance. But beyond the colors and details, what made their wedding special was its authenticity. Luigi, lovingly dubbed the “groomzilla,” took charge of the planning, ensuring every detail reflected their unique bond.
