When Franchesca and Hori met on a random Saturday morning in 2022, they had no idea they were going to stumble into what we would easily call a modern fairytale. Discovering their similarities like love for family, golf, and food, they quickly fell in love. After 2 years of happily sharing their new adventures together, it was to no surprise to anyone when the couple decided to finally tie the knot.

Sharing their love for family, the couple wanted every detail of the wedding to have a full team of relationships behind it. The bride wore a dress chosen by her and her sisters, her shoes a gift from her sister, her hair piece borrowed from her sister-in-law, and her jewelry from her mother. The groom also had help from his parents and new in laws to choose his barong and his cufflinks. They used their wedding to not only make the special day about themselves but to celebrate all their family that loves and supports them.

Intimate, emotional, elegant, and magical. A few of the many words used by guests to describe the wonderful and love filled wedding that celebrated Franchesca and Hori. The couple chose to only invite their closest friends and relatives, and decided on a manila based wedding to ensure everyone they love could attend. The bride chose the church where she attended mass since she was a child and chose the reception to be in a close by location where she grew up playing with her cousins and friends. The groom asked his close family friend to marry them in the church, and he also invited his family from all over the world to celebrate with them, making it a lovely night where two worlds were able to meet in harmony.

What would be considered a familiar location to all attendees was transformed into a beautiful secret garden straight out of a dream. The guests basked in the beauty of both the church and the reception venue. Beautiful fresh flower arrangements and wonderful decorations left everyone in awe. It’s also hard to ignore how everything from the missalettes to the menu cards to the food they served were all personalized with their wedding logo. A fun touch was that the couple let the guests bring home the flower arrangements as to not waste the gorgeous display!

They say time is the only way to test if love is true, but what can time do other than prove what already exists? Franchesca and Hori’s matrimony was a lovely display of how deep and how real love can be. That there was no boastfulness or insincerity, but only humility and love as they stood in front of God and their closest family and friends to profess their devotion to one another. There was not a dry eye in the room when all the people who watched the couple grow up got to hear speeches from their families and watch the dances performed by the bride and her father as well as the groom and his mother. The fabulous decorations, wonderfully curated dishes for all the guests, and the true sense of family made the wedding perfect and it could not have been celebrated in a better, more special way.
