Hubóg, which means drunk in Hiligaynon, the native language in Iloilo, started during the early days of the pandemic. The part-Ilonggo owner, Cholo Dela Cruz, having been layed off from his work as a host for ABS-CBN’s O Shopping, started to look for opportunities to make a living, given that events were scarce to none. And as people were hoarding food and basic necessities, he started hoarding alcoholic beverages.

From there, he started mixing basic cocktails and packaged them in amber and PET bottles for people to purchase and enjoy. Not long after, the world started opening up and bars started operating again. Hubóg stopped its operations and pivoted to a different market — Boracay.

With his partners, Cholo rebranded Hubóg to INOM!. They started consigning their canned cocktails to bars and restaurants and, up to this day, is still operational in the island. But, there was one instance that truly pushed for Hubóg to make a return to Manila.

During his brother’s wedding, he served over 120 cans of INOM! to all the guests during cocktail hour and before the hour even ended, the drinks were already out. There were nothing but good reviews for the product and the demand for it to be brought back started. Thus, the creation of Hubóg Mobile Cocktail Bar.

THE BRAND

Waiting has always been the issue whenever we encounter mobile bars in events and gatherings. We would have to line up and wait for the bartender to craft the drink. The farther you are from the line, the longer you have to wait.

This was a problem we needed to solve. Hubóg’s unique selling point is that we serve ready-to-drink cocktails in easy-go cans, so we can reduce the waiting time and you can party longer.

We offer a quicker way to serve drinks at any event without sacrificing the taste and quality. All our cocktails are freshly made days before the event to preserve the flavors. Each can ranges from 6-8% ABV, making it a strong contender in the mobile bar scene.

Clients may choose to opt for straight-from-the-can service or the traditional cup service, as one can can make up to 2 servings, doubling the quantity of alcohol you and your guests can consume.
