Featuring Stephen Cua and Danielle Dy

Our journey began at a time when both of us were content being alone, yet destiny had other plans. The connection we shared felt like finding the perfect missing piece in a puzzle. On our first date, a humble prayer laid the groundwork for our relationship, weaving a bond rooted in the shared exploration of God’s teachings and a continuous dialogue of prayer, fortifying the strength of our connection.

As COVID-19 unfolded, we faced its challenges hand in hand. Our relationship, marked by highs and lows, solidified into an unbreakable bond. Because of this challenge, we discovered that life without each other was unimaginable, a profound realization that emphasized the omnipresence of God’s guiding hand in our journey.

The proposal was a blend of simplicity and thoughtfulness. A sunflower bouquet, balloons, and heartfelt words marked a moment resonating with the depth of our love.

Our Tinghun Ceremony was an intimate and meaningful affair, a symbolic step towards preparing for a life together. It reinforced the certainty that this journey was meant to be, surrounded by the warmth of our closest friends and family.

Every moment of our wedding ceremony holds a special place in our hearts. A prenup video poem, the first touch, and a prayer before the ceremony were infused with the presence of God. Our lively Chinese Dance set the tone for our first dance on “A Thousand Years,” marking the beginning of our shared journey.

Our wedding theme reflected our love for green, gold, and minimalism. The venue exuded an air of sophistication with its tasteful incorporation of sunflower motifs, creating an ambiance that was both refined and elegant. We think using sunflowers without making it look like a Tuscan wedding was a challenge, but thanks to our incredible stylist, Amante Fleurs, the stunning 8 ft cake from Angelyn’s Cakes, the LED wall background from Metrotech and the lights from Live Levels, our vision came to life.

Our gratitude extends to the Lord, loved ones, and our outstanding suppliers. Getting Married Philippines, helped us transform our dream wedding into a reality beyond our wildest imaginations. Our journey, filled with love, faith, and joy, affirms that true beauty lies in the simplicity of moments shared with those who matter most.
