If you’re a follower or a fan of global fashion influencer Heart Evangelista, you would know by now that most of the jewelry she chose to wear on her big day aren’t new.
Let’s focus on the neckpiece, shall we?
We got to ask the jewelry designer Janina Dizon, who designs under the label Jul B. Dizon Jewellery, for more details on this custom-made piece.
“She’s a long-time friend who I don’t get to see as often,” Janina starts off. “She told me she’s coming over with her stones. I like designing on the spot.”
The designer revealed that Heart brought over 60 carats worth of diamonds in a mix of F to H color, fine quality natural diamonds in 18k white gold.
It took an estimate of 30 minutes to finish drawing the design, and 60 days to complete this special project for Heart.
This was when Janina revealed the final product in an Instagram post last Oct. 12, 2023, “Heart wanted a classic tennis necklace using some of her assortment of diamonds. She gave me carte blanche on the design. I could’ve just made a straight line of diamonds but I wanted to design something more unique and fabulous, like the person that she is. And here’s the outcome. With the help of my brothers who work in production, our artisan masters skillfully crafted this necklace making sure that each diamond doesn’t hurt the other. Thank you for the trust!”
