Netizens were in awe when they came across a pre-nuptial video on Facebook posted by the photography and videography company, FoxDesign Studios, on Jan. 21, 2024.
The video, inspired by the popular anime series “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” featured the Mia Neraida Daquiado dressed as Shinobu Kocho, and Kevin Silva who portrayed Giyu Tomioka, who are both fans of the series. It gained attention not only for its stunning visuals but also for its detailed recreation of the anime series, leaving Demon Slayer fans amazed.

In an exclusive interview with Manila Bulletin Lifestyle, Dumaguete-based FoxDesign Studios shared that their, “passion for creativity knows no bounds,” leading them “to specialize in producing timely and enjoyable prenuptial shoots inspired by diverse sources, including the popular anime Demon Slayer.”
When asked about the unique idea behind the viral prenup video, the talented company explained that it was rooted from their team’s love for anime and their desire to find a couple who shared the same passion.
“We’ve been patiently waiting for a client who shares our passion, and guess what? We finally found them. The couple happens to be huge fans of the anime series Demon Slayer,” they shared. “They requested to incorporate elements from this incredible show into their shoot, and as both fans of the series and videographers, we eagerly accepted the challenge.”
Challenges in making such detailed shoot
The talented team explained that creating an anime-themed prenup video posed unique challenges. They needed to balance the Demon Slayer theme with a captivating love story in an action-packed trailer. Precise coordination, from camera movements to visual effects, was crucial for the project’s success.
“It was quite demanding, considering the intricate coordination required, from camera movements to the application of visual effects, all aimed at ensuring the success of the pre-wedding trailer,” FoxDesign Studio said, adding, “We were particularly mindful of not disappointing the passionate anime fans, or ‘otakus’, out there. Our aim was to honor the essence of the movie and its widespread acclaim through our craftsmanship.”
Videographers favorite part
FoxDesign Studios revealed that it takes them a day to shoot the brilliant pre-wedding trailer that took place in Bayawan City. And after putting too much love and effort in making the video, they were happy and shared their favorite part.
“As videographers and avid anime enthusiasts, we hold each scene in high regard. Despite shooting during the day, we were thrilled to infuse our project with captivating night scenes, staying true to the atmospheric charm of the anime,” they shared.
