Weedge and Gabie’s wedding was no ordinary celebration. Filled with quirky elements that added a touch of uniqueness and surprise, their special day left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to witness it. From a creatively repainted karinderya to a joyous ride on a jeep, the couple’s vision for an extraordinary experience came to life in the most unexpected ways.

The Karinderya Reception

One of the standout features of Weedge and Gabie’s wedding was the unconventional choice of reception venue—a karinderya (local eatery) nearby the church. The couple transformed this humble spot into a whimsical haven by repainting it and adorning it with fun Filipino-inspired decorations.

The surprise element took an intriguing turn as both sides of the family were kept in the dark about the location until the actual day of the wedding. The portalet, too, underwent a transformation to seamlessly blend into the overall aesthetic of the reception.

The Jeepney Journey

Guests were treated to an exciting pre-ceremony experience as they gathered at the karinderya for a cup of coffee before embarking on a unique journey to the church—a ride on a jeep. The jeepney ride added a delightful twist to the festivities.

The Pop of Colors

Weedge and Gabie infused vibrant colors into every aspect of their wedding, reflecting the bride’s sentiment that Weedge brought color to her life. The guests embraced this theme wholeheartedly, dressing up beautifully in a kaleidoscope of colors. The bride and groom’s outfits were also part of that day’s pop of color, creating a joyful and lively spirit.
